About our Tour
This month we have a plant tour of Cabela’s. The tour will include their backroom storage and an opportunity to discuss supply chain management with their Inventory and Receiving managers. This tour will provide some insight as to the inner workings of a large retail organization.
The company was started in Nebraska in 1961 with a mimeographed sales brochure. Cabela’s went public on the NYSE in 2004. They currently have 25 stores throughout North America with the home office still in Sidney, NE.
